Engine Company no.9

This is model 590 in the Lego catalogue, and while it was fun to build there were several problems with the rendering. There are a few elements that could not be rendered, including an American flag, and particularly the yellow ladders on the top of the engine.

The engine was difficult to build, had to do it the wrong way up from the instructions - so I kept it pretty simple. All in all, I liked building this, but not the finished product.

On another note its been a while since I posted - this is because my blog is now blocked at work. For some reason they don't like sites where there is "means of expression or creativity". I thought they were commendable qualities but it seems that the powers that be do not agree with my assessment.
